The Lolli-POP Project by Massimo Gammacurta

Appropriately sub-titled “suck on this”, Massimo’s lollipop art takes consumerism to its logical extreme: branded candies meant to be consumed, ingested, and absorbed into the bloodstream. How many licks does it take to get to the satiation point for a consumer? Trick question, Professor Owl, because we’ll always go back for just one more…

Massimo Gammacurta is an italian photographer, based in New York. Previous employers include Details, Forbes, Nike, Lexus, Surface Magazine and Esquire UK, among others. His conceptual work “Lolli-POP” started as an experiment on the internet, but thanks to the widespread interest from fashion designers and dedicated art bloggers like ourselves, he’s translating that haute couture and making it available for eveyone to purchase in his new book here.

Well let me tell you, it was quite the pragmatic purchase. It has endless uses in my morning routine.

Such as making the bed:
